Narrated by Cokie Roberts, the film听Democracy鈥檚 Messengers听provides a fly-on-the-wall peek into Washington鈥檚 halls of power. For centuries, a select group of young people have been recruited from across the country to serve as 鈥減ages鈥 in the U.S. Congress and the Supreme Court. The film reveals their stories and recounts the tumultuous events in U.S. history they witnessed鈥攆rom the Revolutionary War to 9/11. Following the screening of the 30-minute film, producer听Jerry Papazian听will talk with former pages听Frank Mitchell听(House '65, the first 20th-century African American page),听Jonathan Turley听(House 鈥79), and听Camilla Bosanquet听(House 鈥91).
