Narrated by Cokie Roberts, the film听Democracy鈥檚 Messengers听provides a fly-on-the-wall peek into Washington鈥檚 halls of power. For centuries, a select group of young people have been recruited from across the country to serve as 鈥減ages鈥� in the U.S. Congress and the Supreme Court. The film reveals their stories and recounts the tumultuous events in U.S. history they witnessed鈥攆rom the Revolutionary War to 9/11. Following the screening of the 30-minute film, producer听Jerry Papazian听will talk with former pages听Frank Mitchell听(House '65, the first 20th-century African American page),听Jonathan Turley听(House 鈥�79), and听Camilla Bosanquet听(House 鈥�91).
