Kelsey Noel, a processing archivist in the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Still Picture Branch, discusses recently digitized 26-LG鈥攁 Coast Guard series of lighthouse photographs. The photographs, originally taken by the Lighthouse Board and Lighthouse Service, document a fascinating period of U.S. lighthouse history as well as the development of photographic technology. We digitize images to increase public access to our nation鈥檚 records and preserve them as treasures for future generations.
