For Us, By Us: America鈥檚 Trust In, and Expectations of, the Constitution

Judy Woodruff, anchor of 听PBS NewsHour, will moderate a discussion of the results of a national survey to better understand how Americans relate to our government and its founding documents. The survey was designed to reveal how the priorities of Americans differ based on salient demographic attributes, such as race and ethnicity, age, gender, and socioeconomic status, and how these impact trust in the government and its functions. The survey also examined which Constitutional issues are the most important to individuals, and which American's feel are more important to the nation as a whole.
