Students will learn about America’s national holiday and birthday — Independence Day! Students will explore artwork and primary sources about the American Revolution and the Founders and investigate copies of the Declaration of Independence from the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡.

After registering, you will receive the Zoom connection information via email the day before the event. Participants’ cameras and microphones will be off and participant comments will be shared only with presenters to ensure a student-friendly environment. Registration will close 24 hours before each event.

This program is a part of Civics for All of US, the national civic education initiative from the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡. Our interactive distance learning programs draw upon the vast holdings of the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡ to promote the knowledge, skills, and dispositions students need for civic engagement in the 21st century.
