In his book In the Arena, Chuck Robb offers a political memoir of his extraordinary life. He traces his path from his early days as an anonymous Marine to his fairytale wedding to Lynda Bird Johnson, the daughter of President Lyndon Johnson. Shortly thereafter, he was deployed to Vietnam, and upon his return, a career in politics followed. He discusses his political life in the Virginia state capitol and U.S. Senate, as well as personal highs and lows. Joining Chuck Robb in discussion will be Presidential historian Michael Beschloss.
