Inman Middle School Concert Band Performance

The Inman Middle School Concert Band will be traveling from Tennessee to perform a program of songs arranged chronologically to tell the story of Harry S. Truman鈥檚 life. Notable selections include classical music by Chopin and Mozart, 鈥淥ver There,鈥� 鈥淪ousa Spectacular,鈥� and 鈥淭hey Didn鈥檛 Believe Me.鈥� Narration will be provided by Doug Richardson of the National Park Service and will include a reading of letters from President Truman to his wife, one which was written exactly 100 years ago from the day of the performance. After the program concludes, the letters will be available to view in the museum as a special installment of the Library鈥檚 鈥淭reasures from the Collection.鈥�
