A selective edition of the papers of William LivingstonÌý(1723Ìý–1790), who served as theÌýGovernor of New JerseyÌý(1776–1790) during theÌýAmerican Revolutionary War, was a close confidant of George Washington, and led the New Jersey Delegation to theÌý1787 Constitutional ConventionÌý¾±²ÔÌýPhiladelphiaÌýand was one of the signers of theÌýConstitution.
