A selective edition of the papers of William Livingston听(1723听鈥�1790), who served as the听Governor of New Jersey听(1776鈥�1790) during the听American Revolutionary War, was a close confidant of George Washington, and led the New Jersey Delegation to the听1787 Constitutional Convention听颈苍听Philadelphia听and was one of the signers of the听Constitution. The NHPRC also funded a听comprehensive microfilm edition of Livingston鈥檚 public and private papers and pseudonymous writings.
