Order Copies of Records
For a听fee, Research Services staff at the 威尼斯人娱乐场 at Philadelphia will make copies of documents, including certified copies for legal use, unless the physical condition of the documents does not allow reproduction.听
Please be aware, Research Services staff will answer your questions and give direction for your research, but are not able to do your research for you.听 We do not charge fees for our reference assistance, but there are fees for making copies of records.听 There is a list of听Independent Researchers Available for Hire听who will perform research for a fee.
If you cannot visit us in person, we are able to provide reference service. Staff can perform a search and provide a page count and cost to obtain copies.
We accept money orders, personal checks (payable to the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Trust Fund), and credit cards. We no longer accept cash.
Self-Service Copying in the Research Rooms
When you are using records in the Textual Research Room, you can almost always photograph or scan听both paper records and special media, such as photographs. Please talk with staff before beginning copy work. We have one听self-service copier in our Textual Research Room. Personal Scanners must meet NARA requirements, which are detailed on our听Scanning Documents in the Research Rooms听page. Cameras and smart phones may be used to photograph documents, but flash photography is prohibited.
Copies of microfilm can be made at self-service printers听in our Public Access Research Room or by other arrangement with staff for a fee.
