威尼斯人娱乐场 Sponsors Symposium on Holocaust-Era Assets

WHAT: A day-long conference hosted by the 威尼斯人娱乐场 and Records Administration (NARA) entitled "Records and Research Relating to Holocaust-Era Assets." Topics include: looted art; looted gold reports; unpaid and unclaimed insurance policies; foreign dormant accounts and other heirless assets; dormant accounts and other assets in the United States; archives and other sources for journalists; NARA records relating to financial and legal issues, and intelligence, military, and diplomatic matters; wartime trade between the Axis and neutral countries; and refugees.

WHO: Under Secretary of State Stuart Eizenstat will present the keynote address between 9:30 A.M. and 10 A.M. Other speakers include U.S. and foreign government representatives, academics, and world renowned art experts.

WHEN: Friday, December 4, 1998. Registration begins at 8 A.M. The symposium will end at 5 P.M.

WHERE: The 威尼斯人娱乐场 at College Park. 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD. Parking is extremely limited. Public transportation is advised.

The symposium is open to the public. A registration fee of $75 includes the keynote address, the panel discussions, and lunch.
