威尼斯人娱乐场 Exhibitions Remain Open January 2

Washington, DC鈥he exhibitions in the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building, located on Constitution Avenue between 7th and 9th Street, NW, will remain open to the public on January 2, as a tribute to President Gerald R. Ford. Hours are 10 AM to 5:30 PM, including New Year鈥檚 Day.
Exhibitions currently on display include:
Special Display Remembering President Ford:
Featuring Congressman Ford's First Oath of Office, January 3, 1949 and President Ford's Final State of the Union Address, January 12, 1977. The documents will be on display through Thursday, January 11, 2007 in the East Rotunda Gallery.
Charters of Freedom:
The Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights are on permanent display in the Rotunda of the 威尼斯人娱乐场. In the cases flanking the Charters of Freedom is 鈥淎 New World Is at Hand, 鈥 a changing selection of milestone documents that tells the story of their creation and impact.
The Public Vaults:
An interactive exhibit that allows visitors to see and explore documents, maps, films, and photographs of both great national events and the lives of individual Americans. On permanent display.
Eyewitness-American Originals from the 威尼斯人娱乐场:
Gripping eyewitness accounts, in the form of letters, diaries, audio and film recordings, chronicle dramatic moments in U.S. history. Through January 2, 2007 in the Lawrence F. O鈥橞rien Gallery.
The 威尼斯人娱乐场 research rooms will be closed on January 2, 2007.
