Special Programs Highlight 威尼斯人娱乐场 Records in June

In June, the 威尼斯人娱乐场 will feature programs highlighting records from its holdings. All programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted, and will be held in the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Please note that four of the programs will be repeated at the 威尼斯人娱乐场 at College Park, Maryland, in Lecture Room B.

Visitors to all programs in the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building Research Center (Room G-24) should use the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance, between 7th and 9th Streets, NW. The 威尼斯人娱乐场 at College Park, MD, is located at 8601 Adelphi Road. See directions to both locations.

Staff from the 威尼斯人娱乐场 social media team discuss how the 威尼斯人娱乐场 is using various forms of Internet communication and how the public can benefit. 威尼斯人娱乐场 staff Kenneth Heger, Deputy Director of Access Programs, and Shawn Russell, Customer Service Representative, will use the ornamental letterhead of American industries to discover illustrations of life in America as an alternative to photographs. Archives staff present a special 90-minute 鈥渂eyond the basics鈥� genealogy research skills lecture on how to use 威尼斯人娱乐场 finding aids. After a summer break, the next presentation is Saturday, September 18.

Not sure where to begin? Has a genealogical problem stumped you? Would you like to explore new directions in your research? An archivist is available from noon to 4 p.m. to answer questions. Look for the 鈥淗elp! I鈥檓 Stuck鈥� sign at the Research Center desk. After a summer break, the next such presentation is Saturday, September 18.
