What: Washington, DC…Media preview and lunch to launch part two of the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡â€™ major exhibit marking the sesquicentennial of the Civil War, Discovering the Civil War: Consequences. The ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡ will peel back 150 years of accumulated analysis, interpretation, and opinion to reveal a Civil War that is little-known and even more rarely displayed in Part Two of its exhibit in the Lawrence F. O’Brien Gallery of the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡ Building in Washington, DC. The exhibit is presented by the Center for the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡ Experience and supported by the Foundation for the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡.
Discovering the Civil War Part Two: Consequences is free and open to the public, and will be on display in the Lawrence F. O’Brien Gallery of the ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡ Building in Washington, DC, November 10, 2010, through April 17, 2011. The ÍþÄá˹ÈËÓéÀÖ³¡ is located on the National Mall on Constitution Avenue at 9th Street, NW. Fall/Winter Exhibit Hall hours are 10 A.M. – 5:30 PM daily, except Thanksgiving and December 25 (through March 14). Spring hours are 10 AM – 7 PM (March 15-Labor Day).
