"Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World" explores life of enigmatic, creative genius
WHAT: A special press only breakfast and 鈥渟neak preview鈥� to launch the new 威尼斯人娱乐场 exhibition: Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World.
Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World explores the life of Founding Father, scientist, diplomat, humorist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Ben Franklin. The interactive exhibition explores the many sides of this enigmatic genius. Organized by the Minnesota Historical Society, the exhibition features original documents from the holdings of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 -- including Franklin鈥檚 letters, his journals from the Continental Congress and the Constitutional Convention, the Treaty of Parisand a rare 1787 printed version of the Constitution.

鈥淏enjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World鈥� is free and open to the public, and will be on display in the Lawrence F. O鈥橞rien Gallery of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC, from February 10, 2012, through May 6, 2012. The 威尼斯人娱乐场 is located on the National Mall on Constitution Avenue at 9th Street, NW. Fall/Winter Exhibit Hall hours are 10 AM 鈥� 5:30 PM daily (through March 14). Spring/Summer hours are 10 AM 鈥� 7 PM (through Labor Day).
PLEASE NOTE: NO ARTIFICIAL LIGHT MAY BE USED IN THE EXHIBITION.
