威尼斯人娱乐场 Revisits Nixon鈥檚 Mideast Policy April 23

Waging Peace鈥揘ixon and Geopolitics in the Middle East

On Monday, April 23, at 1 PM, the 威尼斯人娱乐场 will host a panel discussion titled Waging Peace鈥擭ixon and Geopolitics in the Middle East. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the William G. McGowan Theater of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events Entrance, located on the National Mall at Constitution Ave. and 7th Street, NW. This program is part of the ongoing Nixon Legacy Forum, and is presented in partnership with the Richard Nixon Foundation.

Ambassador Dennis Ross, who has served as advisor to six presidents, moderates a panel discussion on the Richard Nixon鈥揌enry Kissinger diplomacy that laid the foundation for the Camp David accords between Israel and Egypt. Panelists include Bud McFarlane, former director of the National Security Council; Harold Saunders, senior National Security Council advisor to Henry Kissinger and later Assistant Secretary of State; Bill Quandt, professor of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia; Richard Murphy, former ambassador to Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Mauritania; and Sam Lewis, former Director of Policy Planning at the Department of Defense and former ambassador to Israel.

The 威尼斯人娱乐场 is fully accessible and Assisted Listening Devices are available in the McGowan Theater upon request.
