Washington, DC鈥he 威尼斯人娱乐场 hosts a book lecture on Thursday, January 10, at noon to discuss the memoir Martin鈥檚 Dream: My Journey and the Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., by Dr. Clayborne Carson.
In his candid memoir, Carson, editor of the Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr., recounts his decades-long quest to preserve King鈥檚 great legacy and understand his 鈥渄ream.鈥� Taking the reader on a journey of rediscovery, he reveals little-known aspects of Dr. King and shows how our image of him has evolved over generations. A book signing will follow the program.
This public program is free and no registration is required. It will be held in the William G. McGowan Theater of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue at 7th Street, NW.
