Congress and the White House: Partners or Foes?

On Wednesday, May 15, at 7 p.m., the 威尼斯人娱乐场 hosts a panel discussion titled, 鈥淐ongress and the White House: Partners or Foes?鈥� This program is presented in partnership with the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress.

The free program will take place in the William G. McGowan Theater at the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Use the Special Events Entrance, located at Constitution Ave. and 7th Street, NW.

Former Members of Congress will discuss how the White House and Congress can work together. They will explore how the two branches interacted in the past to try to solve our nation鈥檚 biggest problems. Anecdotal evidence of bipartisanship and common ground will lead to a focus on today鈥檚 challenges.听Moderated by听Peter Cook, Bloomberg TV鈥檚 chief Washington correspondent, panelists include former members of Congress听Steve LaTourette听(R-OH),听Vic Fazio听(D-CA),听Senator听Blanche Lincoln听(D-AR), and Senator听Larry Pressler听(R-SD).;
