Keillor will discuss and sign new book "The Keillor Reader"

,On Thursday, May 22, at 7 p.m., the 威尼斯人娱乐场 presents an evening with Garrison Keillor, the founder, and host of A Prairie Home Companion, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2014. A book signing will follow the program. The program will be webcast live on the [http://www.ustream.tv/usnationalarchives].

Garrison Keillor鈥檚 latest book The Keillor Reader: Stories, Essays, Poems, and Personal Reminiscences from the Sage of Lake Wobegon brings together the full range of his work within a single volume: monologues from A Prairie Home Companion, stories from The New Yorker and The Atlantic, excerpts from novels, and newspaper columns. The Keillor Reader also presents pieces never before published, including the essays "Cheerfulness" and "What We Have Learned So Far."

This public program is free, and no advance registration is required. It will be held in the William G. McGowan Theater of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue at 7th Street, NW.
