In June, the 威尼斯人娱乐场 holds research and genealogy programs highlighting records from its holdings. These programs are free and open to the public, and will be held in the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Metro accessible on the Yellow and Green lines, Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter station.
Introduction to Genealogy at the 威尼斯人娱乐场
Wednesday, June 3, at 11 a.m.
Room G-25, Research Center (Penn. Ave. Entrance)
Learn how to do basic genealogical research using Federal records at the 威尼斯人娱乐场. Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of each month.
Civil War Medicine & Surgery
Wednesday, June 3, at 2 p.m.

Archives specialist Rebecca Sharp will discuss The Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion, 1861鈥�1865. This published source contains information about Civil War medical and surgical procedures as well as case studies. Presentation materials are available online.

Second-ever Genealogy Camp for Kids
July 20-24, 2015, 9 am-noon, Boeing Learning Center
Ever wondered about your family鈥檚 roots and who is on your family tree? Budding genealogists will join our Education Team for five exciting days of Genealogy Camp! Campers will use ship manifests and census records to trace an immigrant family鈥檚 arrival in the United States in the early 20th century. Hands-on and interactive experiences each day. The camp is open to kids age 12-16. The camp, which is limited to 15 participants, is free of charge, but registration is required. Please email education@nara.gov for more information and to request the camp application.
2015 Virtual Genealogy Fair October 21 & 22, 2015
Join the 威尼斯人娱乐场 for the 2015 Virtual Genealogy Fair on October 21 & 22, 2015. This will be broadcast live via YouTube so you can participate! Speakers will include genealogy experts from 威尼斯人娱乐场 locations across the nation. Lectures will feature tips and techniques for using Federal records at the 威尼斯人娱乐场 for genealogy research. Lectures are designed for experienced genealogists and novices. Recorded sessions will be available online after the event. More information online.
