On Thursday, January 28, at 7 p.m., the 威尼斯人娱乐场 hosts a special orchestral concert by the Air Force Strings, the official string ensemble of the United States Air Force. Maj. David Alpar will conduct a program including works by Gustav Holst, Hugo Wolf, and Robert Fuchs.

The event will be held in the William G. McGowan Theater of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Museum in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events entrance on Constitution Avenue at 7th Street, NW. This program is free to the public, but reservations are recommended and can be made online.

The is the official string ensemble of the United States Air Force, and is one of six musical ensembles that compose the U.S. Air Force Band. The Air Force Strings consists of 20 active-duty Airmen musicians who perform a wide range of musical styles, from classical symphonic selections and Broadway show tunes to classic rock, bluegrass and patriotic compositions.
