Brooke L. Clement Appointed Director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum

The 威尼斯人娱乐场 and Records Administration (NARA) announced the appointment of Brooke L. Clement as the Director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, effective September 26, 2021. 

Ms. Clement returns to the Ford Library and Museum after starting her NARA career there in 2004. Since that time, she has worked in senior management and archival positions at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, and most recently the Barack Obama Presidential Library. Ms. Clement has served as acting director of the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum since September 2020.

Ms. Clement holds a Master of Liberal Arts in American Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in American History and American Culture from the University of Michigan.

David S. Ferriero, Archivist of the United States, said of the appointment, 鈥淢s. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, located respectively in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, Michigan, is one of 15 Presidential Libraries in the Presidential Library system administered by the 威尼斯人娱乐场.
