Memorandum to Senior Agency Officials for Records Management: Semi-Annual Report of Records Management Oversight Activities
Dear Senior Agency Official for Records Management,
We have released our latest semi-annual report on records management: Semi-Annual Report of Records Management Oversight Activities: July 1 - December 31, 2024. This report, and all of our previous semi-annual reports, are available on the Records Management Oversight and Reporting page on our website.
This report summarizes NARA鈥檚 records management oversight activities completed from July 1 through December 31, 2024. It identifies trends from two agency inspections reports and data gathered from the annual reports required from federal agencies. It also highlights oversight activities currently in progress including inspections and assessments to be covered in future semi-annual reports. The report also includes recommendations for SAORMs to consider based on the trends that were identified.
We look forward to sharing future semi-annual reports with you that will include additional recommendations for action by SAORMs, agency records officers, and other records management staff.
